Yuan Yi Zhu is a writer and academic. He is Assistant Professor of International Relations and International Law at Leiden University and a Research Associate at the University of British Columbia’s Centre for Constitutional Law and legal Studies.Yuan is also a frequent contributor to various newspapers and websites, such as The Critic, New Statesman, Telegraph, Times, National Post (Canada).
Yuan’s research focuses on the relationship between international law and the international order in a historical perspective, particularly in the non-Western world and constitutional law of the United Kingdom and of the Commonwealth.
