Baroness Gisela Stuart: The Vitality of Democracy in Britain and Across the Globe

Gisela Stuart’s career spans politics, foreign affairs, and the civil service. She is the First Civil Service Commissioner, responsible for the appointments to the Civil Service, and Chair of Wilton Park, the Foreign Office forum for strategic discussion. Previously, Gisela was the Chair for Vote Leave, Chair for Change UK, and Labour MP for Edgbaston.

In her new book “The Vitality of Democracy” Gisela makes a powerful case for how democracy must be fought for to stay alive and what this fight needs to look like in our current age. We invite you to join her talk on maintaining the vitality of democracy in Britain and across the globe.
